First, when you are considering the best month to take a cruise you need to know a few things, such as Shoulder season and Wave season. The Shoulder season is April and May and September and October, which comes before and after the prime season of cruising. The Wave season is January to March, and this is when the majority of cruises are booked.
When looking for the best month to take a cruise, you might want to consider cruising during one of these off-season months and booking during the Wave season. Spring cruises can be great for the weather for a Caribbean or Bahamas cruise. You will still have mild temperatures and still warm enough to enjoy the beautiful beaches. Now, if you are cruising to Alaska, which Alaska cruise season starts in early April, you may find colder temperatures and still snow on the ground.
